NEW BUSINESS

(3)  2012 WESTMONT RED-WHITE & BBQ FESTIVAL: Board to consider an ordinance approving the following requests from the Westmont Lions Club in regard to their Red-White & BBQ event:
  • Request to close Plaza Drive, from Burr Oak to Blackhawk Drive, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 and reopen on Monday, May 28, 2012 (egress for local business traffic to businesses on Plaza Drive between Burr Oak and Blackhawk will be permitted from the intersection of Plaza and Burr Oak);
  • Request to approve Liquor License fee waiver for the event
  • Request to approve Amusement License fee waiver for the event
  • Request to approve live amplified sound waiver during event hours
(4)  PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION 5K RUN/3K WALK: Board to consider an ordinance approving the following for the annual Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago’s 5K Run/3K Walk:
  • A special events permit for Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 7:00am until 12:00pm.
  • A sound amplification license  
(5)  NORTHERN ILLINOIS POLICE ALARM SYSTEM MEMBERSHIP:  Board to consider an ordinance approving an agreement which authorizes the Village of Westmont to become a member of the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (N.I.P.A.S.), in order to obtain services of their Mobile Field Force (MFF) .

(6)  ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BURNS & McDONNELL:  Board to consider an ordinance approving a proposal from Burns & McDonnell for the Phase 1 and 2 Engineering Design Services for the Cumnor Road Reconstruction Project (MFT# 12-00100-00-PV).

(7)  MOTOR FUEL TAX RESOLUTION FOR CUMNOR ROAD RECONSTRUCTION:  Board to consider a resolution approving the sum of $100,000 for the reconstruction of Cumnor Road, from 59th to 61st Streets, and other related work, from the municipality’s allotment of Motor Fuel Tax Funds under the Illinois Highway Code.

(8)  INTEGRYS ENERGY SERVICES AGREEMENT:  Board to consider an ordinance approving a contract agreement with Integrys Energy Services - Natural Gas, LLC.  for natural gas supply service to non-franchised village accounts.
