NEW BUSINESS
(2) 38 S. CASS, DEVELOPMENT PERMIT: Board to consider a development permit request from Burr Ridge Lighting to expand their retail storefront in the B-1 Limited Business District.
(3) 41 N. CASS, ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUESTS: Board to consider the following requests from Sweet Pea Consignment, Inc. for the following:
A. Special Use permit to operate a resale/consignment shop in the B-1 Limited Business District;
B. Development Permit request; and
C. Downtown Development Grant request.
(4) 257 N. CASS, AVENUE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT GRANT: Board to consider a Downtown Development Grant for the construction of new awnings at Nature’s Best Market, 257 N. Cass Avenue.
(5) 218 N. CASS, DEVELOPMENT PERMIT REQUEST: Board to consider a Development Permit request from Furniture Designer’s Outlet to operate a furniture showroom and interior design business in the B-1 Limited Business District.
(6) JULY 4th CELEBRATION, LIQUOR LICENSE WAIVER REQUEST: Board to consider approval of a request from the Westmont Lions Club to waive the required $100 per day fee for the temporary liquor license needed for the 2011 4th of July celebration to be held a Ty Warner Park.
(7) JULY 4th CELEBRATION, SPECIAL EVENTS REQUESTS: Board to consider approving an amplified sound permit request and a special events traffic plan using various one-ways and street closures around Ty Warner Park from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. or until public has dispersed after the fireworks presentation.
(8) CASS AVENUE, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - POLICE SQUAD CAR NIGHT: Board to consider the temporary closure of Cass Avenue, from Burlington Avenue to Naperville Road, for the annual Police Lights and Siren Parade on Thursday, June 23, 2011.
(9) ETSB INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT: Board to consider an ordinance approving an Intergovernmental Agreement with the DuPage Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) for financial assistance of specified emergency dispatch consolidation expenses.
(10) MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING- TCO’S: Board to consider an ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding with the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (“FOP”) and all of the Telecommunicators (TCO) covered by the Union Contract.
(11) FY 2011-12 BUDGET: Board to hear the FY 2011-12 Budget presentation and consider an adoption resolution.
