NEW BUSINESS

(2) DEVELOPMENT PERMIT REQUEST, 34 SOUTH CASS AVENUE: Board to consider an ordinance approving a development permit request in the Downtown Business Development District for a new home improvement center retail business at 34 S. Cass Avenue in the Richmond Station Building.

(3) RACE TO THE FLAG 5K – 2011 Board to consider an ordinance approving two requests pertaining to 2011 Race to the Flag event held in the Oakwood Subdivision on May 29, 2011:
A. Street closures for the Race to the Flag 5K.
B.  Issuance of a license for amplified sound.

(4) CONTRACT FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING (TIF) CONSULTING SERVICES - TESKA ASSOCIATES, INC.: Board to consider an ordinance approving a contract for consulting services with the firm of Teska Associates to create a new Tax Increment Financing District for the Village of Westmont.

(5) PROCLAMATION: Board to consider a motion approving a proclamation honoring Westmont’s Public Works and proclaiming the week of May 15, 2011 as “National Public Works Week” in Westmont.

(6) PROCLAMATION: Board to consider a motion approving a proclamation honoring Westmont’s Telecommunicators and proclaiming the week of April 10,2011 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Westmont

(7) ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BAXTER & WOODMAN:  Board to consider an ordinance approving an engineering services agreement for engineering design services regarding the Water Plant roof replacement project.

(8) WESTMONT CENTRE: Board to consider a motion authorizing staff to enter into lease negotiations with Maercker School District 60 to develop a contract to be brought back to the Board for subsequent final approval.
