1) MINUTES of the Committee of the Whole Meeting, held September 2, 2010 and the Board Meeting held September 7, 2010.

UNFINSHED BUSINESS
(2) 233 AND 235 NORTH CASS AVENUE: Board to consider the following:
(A) Special Use Permit request to operate a ground floor office in the B-1 Limited Business District.
(B) Plat of Subdivision to consolidate two parcels into one buildable lot.
(C) Zoning Code Variance Request to permit the construction of an office building which will encroach into the required front yard setback. A zero lot line is shown where Code requires a 5’ setback.
(D) Zoning Code Variance Request to permit the construction of an office building which will encroach into the required side yard setbacks. A zero lot line is shown where Code requires a 5’ setback.
(E) Zoning Code Variance request to reduce the number of required off-street parking stalls to 9.
(F) Site and Landscaping Plan approval.
NEW BUSINESS
(3) WESTMONT HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING PARADE: Board to consider a request to close Cass Avenue from Burlington Avenue to Naperville Road along with East Burlington Avenue from Linden to Cass Avenue for the Westmont High School Homecoming Parade on September 23, 2010 between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
(4) 8 ½ NORTH CASS AVENUE: Board to consider a request from MS. Janet Archbold for the development of a used book store and gift shop.
(5) FALL HARVEST FEST: Board to consider approval of the following activities related to the operation of the Pumpkin Harvest festival on October 1, 2 and 3, 2010:
1. Issue a license to use amplified sound for the carnival (October 1, 3:00pm to 10:30pm; October 2, 11:00am to 10:30pm; October 3, 11:00am to 9:00pm);
2. Grant a waiver of Liquor License Fee for the Knights of Columbus/Chamber of Commerce; and
3. Permission to use West Burlington to public parking area for carnival staging
(6) CONSTITUTION WEEK – September 17-23, 2010: Board to consider a proclamation designating September 17 -23, 2010 Constitution Week for the Downers Grove Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
(7) PLUMBING INSPECTION SERVICES: Board to consider an ordinance authorizing a contract with Mr. Mike Chada for Plumbing Inspections Services.
(8) AUTOMATED TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM: Board to hear a presentation by the Police Department to provide a six month review on the automated traffic enforcement program.
