NEW BUSINESS

(2) 29 EAST CHICAGO AVENUE: Board to consider a request
    to allow an exception to the Village Sprinkler
    Ordinance for 29 E. Chicago Avenue.  

(3) 6501 SOUTH RICHMOND AVENUE: Board to consider
    approving an Annexation Request to incorporate
    the subject lot into the Village of Westmont.

(4) 21 NORTH CASS AVENUE: Board to consider a
    development request to establish a used book store
    and gift shop in the property at 21 N. Cass Avenue.

(5) 324 NORTH RICHMOND: Board to consider a Zoning
    Code Variance to permit construction of an
    addition which will encroach into the required
    front yard setback.

(6) 200 EAST OGDEN AVENUE, MERCEDES-BENZ: Board to
    consider the following:

 (A) Zoning Code Variance request to permit
     the construction of a parking lot to
     encroach into the required five foot setback.

 (B) Land development Code Variance Request to
     permit the construction of a parking lot
     within the required side and rear yard easements.

 (C) Site and Landscaping Plan approval for
     an automobile dealership addition.

 (D) Waiver request of the 4’ landscape
      buffer requirement for parking lots.

 (E) Waiver request of the full masonry
     commercial construction requirement.

(7) TEMPORARY LIFTING OF THE HIRING FREEZE: Board to
    consider temporarily lifting the hiring freeze to
    permit the hiring of:

 (A) One school crossing guard.

 (B) Two substitute crossing guards.

(8) PROCLAMATION: Board to consider a proclamation
    declaring the week of September 5 – 11, 2010 as
    National Payroll Week.

(9) GIRL SCOUTS: Board to consider the following
    requests from the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago
    and Northwest Indiana to hold:

 (A) Fall Product Program.

 (B) Door-to-Door Cookie Sales.

 (C) Annual Booth Cookie Sales.
