NEW BUSINESS

(2) APPEALS BOARD APPOINTMENTS FOR MULTI FAMILY HOUSING LICENSING ORDINANCE:  Board to consider the appointment of the following individuals to the Multi Family Licensing Appeals Board:
1. Jeff Mueller – a landlord.
2. – A tenant.
3. Lee Fleming – Village Trustee

(3) SCHOOL DISTRICT 201 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT: Board to consider an ordinance approving an Intergovernmental Agreement with Community Unit School District 201 for facility use and video services.

(4) WESTMONT ROTARY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT TELEVISING: Board to consider a request from the Westmont Rotary Club to broadcast recorded 2010 Tournament Championship games and periodic Public Service Announcements on Channel 16.

(5) COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:  Board to review a draft Request for Proposals for consulting services.

(6) RACE TO THE FLAG 5K ST. JUDE EVENT – STREET CLOSURES: Board to consider approving street closures on Sunday, May 30, 2009, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, for the 5K Race St. Jude Event as follows:  Blackhawk Dr. to Oakwood Dr., to Arlington Ave., to Franklin St., to Philadelphia Ave., to Oakwood Dr., to Hamilton Ave., to Revere Ave., to Oakwood Dr., to Williamsburg St., to Oakwood Dr., to Chestnut Ave.  (Please see map.)

(7) RED WHITE BBQ EVENT – STREET CLOSURES:  Board to consider approving the following requests for the Red, White & BBQ Event to be held at Ty Warner Park on May 28, 29, and 30: 
A. Plaza Drive from IGI to Blackhawk, complete closure; partial closure at Plaza and Burr Oak to allow local traffic only.  Streets will be closed from Wednesday, May 26, 7 p.m. to Monday, May 31, 7 a.m.
B. Allowing parking on both sides of Burr Oak and Chestnut and on the west side of Blackhawk on May 28, 29, and 30.

(8) TEMPORARILY LIFT HIRING FREEZE: Board to consider temporally lifting the hiring freeze to fill Police Department Sworn Officer vacancies created by a resignation and a recent retirement announcement.

(9) TEMPORARY PART TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER: Board to consider temporally lifting the hiring freeze to allow the Police Department to hire temporary part time civilian employees (Community Service Officers).

(10)  KURTZ PARAMEDIC CONTRACT EXTENSIONS: Board to consider ordinances approving the following:
A. An agreement for extension for FY 2009-10 confirming the costs of services; and
B. An agreement for extension adding two additional option years to the contract.
