NEW BUSINESS
(2) 37 WEST QUINCY STREET, MY GREEN ATTIC: Board
to consider an ordinance approving a special
use permit and a development permit to operate
a secondhand consignment shop in the
B-1 Limited Business District.
(3) CHIRO ONE WELLNESS CENTERS: Board to consider
a motion approving a request from Mr. Dennis Jeanpierre
of the Chiro One Wellness Centers to distribute
health & fitness flyers at the Westmont Train Depot.
(4) SCHOOL DISTRICT 201 EMPLOYEE PARKING: Board to
consider an ordinance approving an Intergovernmental
Agreement with School District 201 concerning employee
parking in shared parking lot and on Linden Avenue.
(5) DOWNTOWN EMPLOYEE PARKING PERMITS: Board to consider
an ordinance creating parking permits and designating
parking areas for downtown business employees at a
nominal cost to such employees.
(6) DOWNTOWN PARKING FUND: Board to consider a motion
to postpone the establishment of a
dedicated Downtown Parking Fund.
(7) AMENDMENT TO MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT ORDINANCE
REGARDING LICENSING: Board to consider an ordinance
adopting amendments to the
Massage Establishment ordinance.
(8) WESTMONT HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING PARADE: Board to
consider approval of the following requests:
A. Motion to approve street closures and
pre-parade staging on public property
for the Westmont Homecoming Parade on
September 24, 2009, between 6:30 p.m. and
7:00 p.m., on Cass Avenue from Burlington Avenue
to Naperville Road, and on East Burlington Avenue
from Linden to Cass Avenue.
B. Ordinance granting a waiver of Section 42-152
of the Westmont Code of Ordinances to allow an
outdoor bonfire at the Westmont High School
following the Homecoming Parade.
(9) NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH –
OCTOBER 2009: Board to consider approval of a
proclamation designating October, 2009 as
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in
the Village of Westmont.
(10) CONSTITUTION WEEK – SEPTEMBER 17-23, 2009:
Board to consider approving a proclamation
designating September 17-23, 2009 as Constitution Week.
(11) AD HOC FINANCE COMMITTEE: Board to consider
an ordinance establishing an Ad Hoc
Finance Committee whose mission will be to
assess longer term Village finances looking at
both trends in revenue and expenditures.
