New Business

PZ 09-010       John Abunijmeh of House of Engineering regarding the property located
                          at 234 West Burlington Avenue, Westmont, IL 60559 for the following:
 
                            (A) Zoning Code Variance Request for relief from the maximum allowable  
                                  density.  The R-5 General Residence District requires a minimum lot area  
                                  of 9,000 square feet and the petitioner is proposing approximately
                                  8,040  square feet in order to build one duplex structure. 

                            (B) Preliminary Plat of Subdivision request to consolidate two (2) lots  into one (1) buildable lot.

                            (C) Site and landscaping plan approval.

PZ 09-011       David E. Zajicek of Hinshaw and Culbertson LLP with ManorCare Health Services
                         regarding the property located at 512 East Ogden Avenue, Westmont, IL 60559 for the following:
                                          (A) Amend Article XII, Appendix A, Section 12.02 to permit the expansion  of
                                                legal nonconforming nursing homes in the B-2 General Business District  
                                                under certain circumstances. 

PZ 09-012       Thomas J. McCabe of Seaton Engineering with Westmont A. Imports Inc. (Audi),
                           regarding the property located at 276 East Ogden Avenue, Westmont, IL 60559 for the following:

                           (A) Zoning Code Variance Request to reduce the required side yard setback  
                                 from 5’ to approximately 4.6’ for the purpose of constructing an addition  
                                 in the B-2 General Business District.

                           (B) Preliminary Plat of Subdivision request to consolidate two (2) lots  into one (1) buildable lot.

                            (C) Revised site and landscaping plan approval.
