(2) PIERS SPECIAL SERVICE AREA:    Board to consider follow-up discussion to the public hearing on The Piers Special Service Area.

NEW BUSINESS

(3) BETHEL LUTHERN CHURCH BIBLE SCHOOL: Board to consider approving a request from Susan Sarkauskas, Vacation Bible School co-director, for permission to block off Grant St. between Irving Street and Burlington Avenue, to through traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from June 16 - 20, 2008.

4) BLOCK PARTIES: Board to consider approval of the following street closings for a neighborhood Block Party:
a) Oakwood Court – block off Oakwood Court, a cul-de-sac, at Oakwood Drive from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM to hold a Block Party on Saturday, June 14, 2008.
b) South Wilmette Avenue – block off Wilmette Avenue between Dallas Street and Des Moines Street, from 2:00 PM until Dusk to hold a Block Party on Saturday, August 2, 2008.

(5) 2008 ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION: Board to consider approving a liquor license fee waiver for the Westmont Lions Club for the 2008 4TH of July celebration to be held at Ty Warner park.

(6) TWIN LAKE TOWERS APARTMENTS, 300 WEST 60TH ST, 821 SOUTH WILLIAMS ST., 816 SOUTH ADAMS ST.: Board to consider an ordinance to waive the full masonry requirement for detached garages.

(7) PROCLAMATION: Board to consider a proclamation honoring Westmont’s Public Works and declaring the week of May 18, 2008 as “National Public Works Week”.

(8) GRIEVANCE AND APPEALS ORDINANCE: Board to discuss amending Article VII of Chapter 62 of the Code of Ordinances regarding the grievance and appeal process.

(9) ACTING VILLAGE MANAGER DESIGNATION ORDINANCE: Board to discuss amending Section 2-170 of the Code of Ordinances regarding the appointment of Acting Village Manager.

(10) VILLAGE BOARD MEETING, CONFERENCE AND EVENT ATTENDANCE MORATORIUM: Board to consider a self-imposed moratorium on expending village funds to attend meetings, conferences and/or events.

(11) EMPLOYEE AGREEMENTS: Board to ratify the approval of two (2) previously approved employee separation agreements.
