PUBLIC BID OPENING

(2) PUBLIC BID OPENING: Board to publicly open bids for the purchase and development of 8.0 acres of Village owned property located east of 200 West 63rd Street (soon to be known as 150 W. 63rd St).  Board to consider all bids submitted and select the best bid, in terms of compliance, with the Village’s previously adopted strategic development goals.

NEW BUSINESS

(4) 2008 RED-WHITE & BBQ: Board to consider approval of a request from the Westmont Lions Club to waive the required $100 per day fee for the temporary liquor license needed for the 2008 Red-White & BBQ to be held at Ty Warner Park, Saturday, May 24 & Sunday, May 25, 2008, each day from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm.

(5) CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING SERVICES FOR THE WESTMONT PUBLIC LIBRARY: Board to consider approval of a Contract Agreement for the Village of Westmont to charge for and provide accounting / bookkeeping services to the Westmont Public Library.

(6) 2008 CONCERTS IN THE PARK GRANT REQUEST: Board to consider a motion approving a grant request in the amount of $9,800 for the 2008 Concert in the Park series. 

(7) WATER BILLING CYCLE / RATE CHANGE: Board to consider a motion approving changes to the water usage rates and billing frequency.

(8) POLICE OFFICER TRAINING FACILITIES INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT: Board to consider an ordinance approving the execution of an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Clarendon Hills that provides for the mutual use of police training facilities.

(9) DUPAGE MAYORS & MANAGERS’S CONFERENCE LEGISLATIVE ACTION PROGRAM: Board to consider endorsing the DuPage Mayors & Manager’s Conference 2008 Legislative Action Program.

(10) DUPAGE COUNTY HAZARDS MITIGATION PLAN: Board to consider a motion approving a resolution to adopt the DuPage County Hazards Mitigation Plan.
