(1) MINUTES of the Committee of the Whole Meeting held January 17, 2008 and the Board Meeting held January 21, 2008.

      NEW BUSINESS

(2) WSEC FUNDING REQUEST: Board to consider approval of a grant to the Westmont Special Events Corporation for the 2008 Taste of Westmont in the amount of $25,000.

(2A) 2008 TASTE OF WESTMONT: Board to consider approval of the following requests from the Westmont Special Events Committee (WSEC) for the 2008 Taste of Westmont:
A. Carnival Fee Waiver.
B. Liquor License Fee Waiver.
C. Street closures.
      D. Approval of geographic description and related issues.

(3) FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE WITH WSEC: Board to consider a First Amendment to Lease with the Westmont Special Events Corporation, NFP, for their space at Westmont Centre.

(4) 1142 FLORENCE AVENUE: Board to consider a request from Bridge Communities, Inc. in cooperation with Community Housing of DuPage (CHAD) for an exception to the Condominium Conversion Ordinance.

(5) 214 WILLARD PLACE: Board to consider approving a Zoning Code Variance Request to permit lot coverage greater than the 40% maximum allowed in the R-3 Single Family Detached Residence District.  A previously approved variance requires that lot coverage is not to exceed 43.7% and the as-built lot coverage approximates 46.8%.

(6) LIQUOR LICENSE: Board to consider an ordinance decreasing the number of Class Four (4) liquor licenses by one (1) due to the closure of the Westmont Brat House, 18 North Cass Avenue.

(7) 2008 CHAMBER OPEN HOUSE EVENTS: Board to consider approval of a request to serve beer and wine at the Westmont Chamber of Commerce for two (2) Chamber Open House events to be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 and Wednesday, September 24, 2008 and to waive the required $100 fee per day for a total of $200 for the Temporary Liquor Licenses needed.

(8) CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND TOURISM BUREAU:  Board to hear a presentation by the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau to preliminarily discuss the scope of work for their 2008-2009 tourism grant request.
